Hi, My name is Pete Howie. Six years ago, my wife and I moved to Llangunllo in the Welsh borders and we struggled to get a surveyor to inspect our house before we bought. I was just about to finish a 36 career in IT, so I decided to look into property surveying and after a four year practical and academic course, I qualified as a surveyor and am now an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocMRICS)

I established Kings Brook Surveyors to be an independent, reliable and caring surveying business, offering small scale, personal inspections for people who want a one to one service that is not dictated by volume.

Serving the Welsh Marches, North Herefordshire and South Shropshire, from Hay on Wye to Brecon, Shrewsbury to Hereford.

Beyond the ordinary

At Kings Brook Surveyors I do not take on high volumes of surveys with one day turnarounds, each survey is taken seriously with a focus on producing a thorough and detailed report to each and every client. I do not take on more than one survey at a time and each report includes extensive building and area history searches such as previous ground use, noise levels, prior and current planning applications (where accessible). I am committed to providing the sort of report that I wanted when I first moved here.
