What is RICS?

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is a leading professional body in the built environment. As a RICS Associate Member, I have undertaken practical and academic training in all aspects of residential surveying, studying under SAVA to achieve the qualification over a four year period. This training involved qualified chartered surveyor assessed case studies on a range of properties from 1850 to the present day, encompassing houses, flats, bungalows as well as new builds. I have studied building pathology, regulations and building methods.

What does this mean for you, the client? I offer a thorough and in depth inspection and report of your potential property and as I am a member of RICS, I am backed by one of the leading organisations worldwide in the built environment. RICS has recognised and defined standards and I am regulated by them.
